Disaster Relief + Hurricane relief efforts
The ID Travel Group Foundation for Better Living has a long history of providing direct assistance to islands affected by natural disasters, especially major hurricanes. Our mantra is to get aid directly to those most in need, working through our own well established contacts, appointed as our on location Field Directors. Their task is to receive and distribute aid items we send, bypassing larger philanthropic organizations , NGOs and governments, ensuring 100% of aid money gets to where it is most required, and not consumed by "administrative" costs, or diverted. We do focus on those in the tourism sector, so important to the islands' economies, and we often work with our hotel partners in the islands. Over the years, we have come together, in solidarity, to help islands in the Eastern Caribbean that have been devastated by the hurricanes. This year, it is the unfortunate turn of Jamaica, now recovering from the incredible wrath of hurricane Melissa. We will be there again to do all we can. ID Travel Group has pledged to make a $5 per booking donation to the Foundation's Melissa Relief Fund, and we count on our many friends in the travel industry and beyond to support our efforts. Remember, 100% of all funds raised gets to where it is needed; there are no "fees" and no administrative costs deducted.

- 45 Generators (to Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Anguilla)
- 1,000 Solar lanterns with USB ports for electronic charging (Anguilla and Grenada)
- Tarpaulins
- Bedding
- First aid kits
- Non-perishable food items
- Toiletries
- Insect repellant
- Senior & Infant supplies
